In a foreclosure action the legal descriptions used in Sheriff's deeds must be pre-approved by the Summit County Fiscal Office Property Transfer Department before filing the final judgment with the Summit County Clerk of Courts.
The legal description submitted for approval should be the legal description from the current deed of record. Amendments to Rule 11 & 12 Foreclosures

Property Legal Description: the legal description must be submitted on a separate sheet of paper. Each legal description must include the parcel number(s), routing number(s) and address(s) that it describes. Vacant land must be identified by the street name.
