Summit County Fiscal Officer Kristen M. Scalise CPA, CFE proudly announces that she has earned the Chartered Global Accountant Management (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). This designation is given to a premier group of Certified Public Accountants and is recognized on a global level.

She earned the CGMA designation through experience prescribed by the AICPA. The CGMA is a new designation that was introduced by the AICPA in January 2012. Gregory Anton, Chairman of the AICPA, describes the CGMA as setting a new standard for the next generation of CPAs.

Fiscal Officer Scalise says the designation reinforces her commitment to the accounting management of the Summit County Fiscal Office. “Earning the CGMA designation demonstrates to the citizens of Summit County that I am dedicated to the professional ethics and principles of accounting management.”
