IT

The Summit County Fiscal Office Department of Information Technology provides internal development, support and management of the hardware and software systems that serve the end-user community. The IT department ensures continuity and availability of these systems and makes every effort at being a 'transparent' service provider to the users. In order to achieve this goal, the IT department requires highly-skilled professionals in specific areas of expertise including desktop/client support, network engineers, software engineers, database administrators, and management.

The Information Technology department enforces stringent policies and practices to help ensure the highest level of continuous service, security and risk management. The IT department not only provides these services to the entire Fiscal Office but also to 5 other County-wide agencies.
